Degree in Practical Ministry

PROGRAM CONTENT:

Kingdom Leadership Institute offers practical equipping for ministry in the seven spheres.

The programs are divided in modules, each module consists of several courses and each course consists of several sessions.

Sessions are pre-scheduled weekdays on Wednesday, with a break in the months of July & December.

PROGRAM OBJECTIVES:

Upon completion of this course the student should be able to:

  1. Discover their identity in the Father-love of God,
  2. Identify their area of impact
  3. Recognize their complementing gifts, talents and abilities.
  4. Develop the understanding and skills to impact and influence culture.
  5. Demonstrate the Divine expression of King Jesus in their world
  6. Become anointed ambassadors, bringing the power and authority of His Kingdom to the sphere where God has called them.
  7. Students are commissioned to take their Mountain for the glory of King Jesus!

TEXTBOOKS:

The Holy Bible; Course Textbooks are provided in English or Spanish. Papiamento textbooks may be available for some of the classes. Exchanging of textbooks for a different language at the start of a course is not possible. Timely request for change of language will be processed for the next course.


For each course the student will receive a list of suggested reading material. This material is sold separately.

A list of suggested reading material is included in your student packet. This material is sold separately and can be ordered via KLI office.

METHODOLOGY:

In each session we will seek to achieve our objectives through a variation of the following methodology, subject to the Holy Spirit and the Instructor’s preference:

  1. Classroom lecture
  2. Guided classroom discussions of issues related to assigned reading, lectures and course assignments.
  3. Small group discussion
  4. Individual reading, research and writing
  5. Impartation
  6. Activation

ATTENDANCE:

Students need to register and receive their student i.d. badge at the beginning of every course. This badge needs to be returned after each course. Registration opens 30 min. prior to session, at 7:00 p.m. Entrance to the Sessions will not be permitted without your student i.d. badge.

A session attendance (sign-in) sheet will be placed at the registration for each session. An attendance record will be kept for each student. It is important that you write and sign your name and the beginning of the sessions.

On our website you can regularly view the updated program schedule. Sessions are pre-scheduled weekly on Wednesday. Included in your packet is an overview of the Year Roster for the 2012 program. Please note sessions might be subject to change.

  • Attendance, punctuality and preparation are expected.
  • Students need to register and receive a student i.d. badge at the beginning of every session.
  • Registration will be open 30 minutes before the Class, which is at 7:00 p.m., since the Session commences at 7:30 p.m.
  • Entrance to the Sessions will not be permitted without your student i.d. badge.
  • Students need to sign the attendance sheet for each Session.

EARNING YOUR DEGREE IN PRACTICAL MINISTRY:

In order to earn a degree in Practical Ministry students must accumulate a minimum amount (or score) of “points” called, Training Units (TU). Training Units can be earned/accumulated when the required Writing Assignment and Book Assignment are submitted within the stipulated deadlines.

An overview of the training units to be earned for each degree is included:

An Associate's Degree will require 52 TU's.
Each submitted Writing Assignment for the Associate Degree will earn you 8 TU’s and each submitted Reading Assignment another 4 TU's - for a maximum total of 12 TU's per course for the Associate Degree.

A Bachelor Degree will require 112 TU's.
Each submitted Writing Assignment for the Bachelor Degree will earn you 6 TU’s and each submitted Reading Assignment another 2 TU's - for a maximum total of 8 TU's per course for the Bachelor Degree.
